// 03 Challenge
Delivering secure, customer-facing document services for a private trading bank — a serverless AWS architecture interoperating with on-premise microservices — to financial-sector security and reliability expectations, primarily through advisory and quality-assurance work.
noriba supported a serverless customer portal providing document services for a private trading bank. The engagement was weighted toward quality engineering and technical consultancy, with a smaller share of hands-on development — roughly 40% quality assurance and testing, 40% consultancy and 20% development.
As technical consultants, we helped shape the serverless AWS architecture (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, EventBridge, provisioned with the AWS CDK) and its integration with on-premise microservices, alongside a disciplined development and release lifecycle. The largest part of the work was quality assurance and testing: validating cloud microservices and integrations with pytest and moto, then shipping them through GitLab CI. Our development contribution was implemented in Python (Pydantic, boto3).
